The Switch Board
The switches are all fairly self-explanatory and you will be briefed further. The main thing
to remember is not to leave on anything you are not using as the batteries will not last
forever.
The left hand side is the 12V switches, which will run off the batteries. The right side is
the 220V system which will
only work when the shore power is connected
. The 220V is
for the battery charger, water heater (works of engine as well), microwave and sockets.
Inverter
The inverter will charge phones, tablets and lap tops. It will not work for large appliances
like hair driers. It can be used whenever, however do not leave on overnight or when you
are away from the boat for a long period.
Please check the battery monitor panel to make sure the Volts do not drop below 12V. If
this happens please turn off what you don’t need on and run the engine to start the
battery.
Stereo
The stereo system is turned on first using the
symbol on the panel.
You can then plug in your iPods, iPads, Mp3 players etc using the aux cable or the USB
connection. You can also FADE inside and outside to where ever you would like.
Fridge
There are two fridges onboard. Both are 12V so they work from the batteries. They can be
used when the engine is on or off, but not for too long as it will drain the battery. Again
please keep an eye on the Volt Panel.
Normally the best way to use the fridge is keep them on all day then turn them off at
night, providing you use the engine for around 1 hour in the morning and afternoon you
should have plenty of power.
