CONTROL – Control panel
The control panel for the laser can be configured to present different operating
mode controls for either Power or Current mode. The modes are selected by
clicking on the Settings drop down menu (gear icon) in the status panel. See
“CONTROL settings” on page 74 .
Power mode
In the Power operating mode the optical output power level is used to control the
laser’s output. The panel provides both a wavelength offset control in picometers
and output power control that can be scaled in either mW or dBm.

Note: For C15 and Y10 variants the power is fixed and cannot be adjusted. For
these module variants, a power slider control is unavailable.
Note: The range of the power control varies and depends on the power capabili -
ty of the ADJUSTIK or ADJUSTIK HP.
Current mode
In the Current operating mode the current in the fiber pump is kept at a constant
level. Only the wavelength offset control is available in the control panel menu.
