Blood Glucose Testing
Wash your hands with
warm, soapy water.

Remove Test Strip from vial and close
vial immediately. Insert Test Strip into
Test Port with contacts (metallic blocks)
end facing up. The Meter turns on.

With Test Strip still in
Meter, touch edge of
Sample Tip to blood
drop and allow blood
to be drawn into Test
Strip. Remove Test Strip
Sample Tip from sample
drop immediately after
the Meter beeps and
dashes appear across
Meter Display.
Holding the Test Strip Sample Tip to the blood
sample too long after the Meter begins testing
may cause inaccurate results.
Lance your finger.

Hold Meter in a vertical position
with Test Strip facing down.
Press Strip Release Button to
discard the used Test Strip from
the Meter.

After a few seconds glucose
result will be displayed with
date and time.
