If the Wii U GamePad screen is off, then press the

POWER

Button and then the

SYNC

Button.

If the following (or similar) screen displays, then press the

SYNC

Button on the

Wii U console again and start over from step 3 above.

It may be necessary to move closer to the Wii U console

.

Pairing the Wii Remote Plus with the Wii U Console

To pair (sync) the Wii Remote Plus with the Wii U console, conduct the following procedure:

1. While on the

Wii U Menu

, press the

SYNC

Button on the Wii U console to display the

controller pairing screen.

2. Press the

SYNC

Button on the console until the screen shows the controller type you

want to pair.
