When the
“Smart”
function is enabled, the repeater sets up the suitable gain automatically thus not causing any interference to
the mobile network.
The repeater also has
Manual Gain Control (MGC)
feature that enables users/ engineers to reduce the gain of the repeater
manually with the help of a touch screen, if any oscillation is detected.
In this case, the
“Smart”
function must be disabled. The repeater LED indicators will change their color in case of a too strong
input signal or oscillation detected. Thus, the
Alarm LED
located on the front panel will turn from green to orange or red
(depending on the strength of the input signal).
After switching on the repeater, check first the POWER and ALARM LEDs.
