Difficult-to-focus subjects:
The following subjects may be too difficult to focus.
In these cases, use focus lock (
-
P. 20) by
focusing on another subject equidistant from the
camera.
• Subjects too small to fully cover the autofocus
frame mark
• Subjects behind glass
• Dark subjects with no reflection
• Glossy, light-reflecting surfaces, such as shiny
cars or water
• Subjects without solid content (i.e., candle flame,
fireworks, etc.)
• Secondary subjects are closer to the camera than
the main subject.
