Using the AF-Assist Illuminator with F Mount Lenses
Some lenses may block the light from the AF-assist illuminator. Lenses that
support use of the AF-assist illuminator during autofocus are listed below,
together with the ranges at which they can be used. Remove lens hoods when
using the AF-assist illuminator.
