When editing movies, use a sufficiently charged battery to prevent the camera
from turning off during editing. When the battery level indicator is
B
, movie
editing is not possible.
Extracting Only the Desired Portion of a Movie
The desired portion of a recorded movie can be saved as a separate file.

Play back a desired movie and pause at the start point of
the portion that you want to extract (

• Use

or rotate the command dial to
move the start point.
• To cancel editing, select

(back), and

• To preview the specified portion, use

and then press the

button.
Press the

button again to stop
previewing.
