1. BESCHREIBUNG
Diese Netzteile dienen zur Stromversorgung von LEDs. Mit diesen 25-W-Netzteilen können entweder 10
monochrome LED-Streifen von Niko oder 5 RGB-LED-Streifen von Niko versorgt werden.
Die Ausgangsspannung von 24 Vdc ist stabil, hat einen engen Toleranzbereich und einen hohen
Wirkungsgrad. Die gesamte angeschlossene Last darf max. 25 W betragen.
Das Netzteil 340-00015 ist für den Innenraumbereich vorgesehen, das Netzteil 340-00018 ist für den
Einsatz im Außenbereich vorgesehen.
Die Netzteile entsprechen den Sicherheitsanforderungen der Norm EN61347-2-13, den EMC-Normen
EN61547, EN55015, EN61000-3-2 und EN61000-3-3 und der Betriebsnorm EN62384.
Schutzvorrichtung:
Die Netzteile sind gegen Überlast und Übertemperatur geschützt.
2. MONTAGE UND ANSCHLUSS
- Zur Wandbefestigung ist an der Oberseite der Netzteile eine Befestigungsöse vorgesehen (max.
Durchmesser: 4,5 mm).
- Zur Montage des Netzteils 340-00015, siehe Abb. 1. Zur Montage des Netzteils 340-00018, siehe Abb. 2.
- Um die Netzteile einzubauen, sind eine Öffnung mit einem Durchmesser von mindestens 55 mm und eine
Einbauhöhe von mindestens 100 mm erforderlich (Abb. 3).
- Ein minimaler Freiraum rund um das Netzteil ist einzuhalten (Abb. 4).
- Um eine einwandfreie Funktion zu garantieren, ist eine optimale Belüftung erforderlich (Abb. 5).
- Die Ausgangskabel von zwei Netzteilen dürfen nie parallel geschaltet werden (Abb. 6).
- Die Netzanschlusskabel (PRI) und die Ausgangskabel (SEC) müssen getrennt verlegt werden (Abb. 7).
- Es ist dafür zu sorgen, dass die Anschlüsse L und N bei den Netzteilen mit doppelten Eingangsklemmen
korrekt angeschlossen sind (Abb. 8).
- Der Einsatz von 1,5-mm²- und 2,5-mm²-Leitern ist unter bestimmten Vorraussetzungen zugelassen:
Wird die Stromversorgung der Netzteile 340-00015 durchgeschliffen, so muss ein Sicherungsautomat
von 10 A diesen Stromkreis absichern und ist es nicht zulässig Steckdosen in diesen Stromkreis mit
einzubeziehen.
- Die zulässige tc-Temperatur muss beim Einbau berücksichtigt werden. Siehe Abb. 9 zur Festlegung der
tc-Messpunkte.
- Das Netzteil 340-00018 hat eine Schutzart IP65. Um diese Schutzart zu garantieren, muss der
Anschluss in einer Abzweigdose mit mindestens der gleichen IP-Art ausgeführt werden.

4. WARNHINWEISE FÜR DIE INSTALLATION
- Die Installation darf ausschließlich von einer Elektrofachkraft unter Berücksichtigung der geltenden
Vorschriften ausgeführt werden.
- Diese Gebrauchsanleitung muss dem Benutzer ausgehändigt werden. Die Gebrauchsanleitung ist den
Unterlagen der elektrischen Anlage beizufügen und muss auch eventuellen neuen Besitzern ausgehändigt
werden. Zusätzliche Exemplare erhalten Sie über die Website von Niko oder über den Kundendienst von
Niko. Die neueste Version der Gebrauchsanleitung erhalten Sie immer auf der Niko-Website.
- Beachten und berücksichtigen Sie bei der Installation unter anderem folgende Punkte:
- die gültigen Gesetze, Normen und Richtlinien.
- den Stand der Technik zum Zeitpunkt der Installation.
- die in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen, wobei diese Gebrauchsanleitung nur
allgemein gültige Bestimmungen enthält, die für jede Anlage spezifisch angewendet werden müssen.
- die allgemein anerkannten Regeln fachmännischer Arbeit.

5. NIkO UNTERSTÜTZUNG
Bei Zweifel oder falls Sie bei einem eventuellen Defekt des Produkts noch Fragen bezüglich des Umtausches

6. GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
- Der Garantiezeitraum beträgt vier Jahre ab Lieferdatum. Als Lieferdatum gilt das Rechnungsdatum
zum Zeitpunkt des Kaufs durch den Endverbraucher. Falls keine Rechnung mehr vorhanden ist, gilt das
Produktionsdatum.
- Der Endverbraucher ist verpflichtet, Niko schriftlich über einen Produktmangel innerhalb von zwei Monaten
nach dessen Feststellung zu informieren.
- Im Falle eines Mangels hat der Endverbraucher nur Recht auf kostenlose Reparatur oder Ersatz des
Produkts. Eine Entscheidung darüber obliegt allein Niko.
- Niko ist nicht für Mängel oder Schäden verantwortlich, die durch fehlerhafte Installation, nicht
bestimmungsgemäßen oder unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, durch falsche Bedienung, Anpassen/Ändern des
Produktes, infolge von unsachgemäßer Wartung entgegen den Wartungsvorschriften oder die sich aus
äußeren Umständen, wie beispielsweise infolge Feuchtigkeit oder Überspannung, ergeben.
- Zwingende Vorschriften der nationalen Gesetzgebung bezüglich des Verkaufs von Konsumgütern und zum
Verbraucherschutz haben vor den obigen Bestimmungen Vorrang in den Ländern, in denen Niko direkt oder
über seine Neben- oder Tochtergesellschaften, Filialen, Vertriebsstellen, Agenten oder über feste Vertreter
verkauft.

1. DESCRIPTION
These power supplies are suitable for powering LEDs. These 25 W power supplies are suitable for powering
10 Niko monochrome LED strips or 5 Niko RGB LED strips.
The output voltage of 24 Vdc is steady, has a restricted tolerance and a high output. The max. total
connected load is 25 W.
Power supply 340-00015 is designed for indoor applications, power supply 340-00018 is designed for
outdoor applications.
The power supplies comply with the safety norm EN61347-2-13, the EMC norms EN61547, EN55015,
EN61000-3-2 and EN61000-3-3 and the performance norm EN62384.
Protections:
The power supplies are protected against overload and overheating.
2. MOUNTING AND CONNECTION
- At the top of the power supply, an eyelet (max. diameter: 4.5 mm) is provided for wall mounting.
- For the mounting of power supply 340-00015, see fig. 1. For the mounting of power supply
340-00018, see fig. 2.
- Flush mounting the power supplies requires an opening with a diameter of at least 55 mm and a flush-
mounting height of at least 100 mm (fig. 3).
- Observe the minimal free space around the power supply (fig. 4).
- For a good functioning of the appliance, optimum cooling is required (fig. 5).
- Do not connect the output wires of two power supplies in parallel (fig. 6).
- Keep the power supply wires (PRI) and the output wires (SEC) separated (fig. 7).
- Make sure the L and N connections are correctly connected in case of power supplies with double input
terminals (fig. 8).
- The use of 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm² wires is only allowed under certain conditions: if you use the looping
function of power supply 340-00015, a 10 A automat has to protect the circuit and socket outlets are not
allowed in this circuit.
- When flush mounting, take the allowed tc temperature into account. For the tc measuring points, see fig. 9.
- Power supply 340-00018 has an IP65 protection degree. To be able to guarantee this protection degree,
the connections have to be made in a connection box with at least the same IP degree.

4. WARNINGS REGARDING INSTALLATION
-The installation should be carried out by a registered installer and in compliance with the statutory
regulations.
-This manual should be presented to the user. It should be included in the electrical installation file, and it
should be passed on to any new owners. Additional copies are available on the Niko website or via the Niko
support service. The latest manual for this product is available on the Niko website at any time.
-During installation, the following should be taken into account (non-exhaustive list):
- the statutory laws, standards and regulations.
- the technology currently available at the time of installation.
- this manual, which only states general regulations and should therefore be read within the scope of
each specific installation.
- the rules of proper workmanship.
This product complies with all of the relevant European guidelines and regulations. If applicable, you can find
the EC declaration of conformity regarding this product at www.niko.eu.
5. NIkO SUPPORT
In case of doubt or for the specific exchange procedure in case of a possible defect, contact the Niko support

6. GUARANTEE PROVISIONS
- The period of guarantee is four years from the date of delivery. The delivery date is the invoice date of purchase
of the product by the consumer. If there is no invoice, the date of production applies.
- The consumer is obliged to inform Niko in writing about the non-conformity, within two months after stating the
defect.
- In case of a non-conformity, the consumer only has the right to a product repair or replacement free of charge,
which shall be decided by Niko.
- Niko shall not be held liable for a defect or damage resulting from incorrect installation, improper or careless
use, incorrect operation, transformation of the product, maintenance that does not adhere to the maintenance
instructions or an external cause, such as damage due to moisture or overvoltage.
- The compulsory regulations of the national legislation concerning the sale of consumer goods and the
protection of the consumer in the countries where Niko sells, directly or via sister companies, subsidiaries, chain
stores, distributors, agents or permanent sales representatives, take priority over the above-mentioned rules
and regulations.
