4. HOW IS THE FEEDBACK MODULE SET UP?
Start-up & test
Switching on the device for the first time will start a test automa-
tically! The LCD will briefly display the name of the device and the
corresponding software version. This test takes a few seconds; the device then starts
its standard operation.
Transmitting the Nikobus address from the feedback module
The PC-Link transmits its Nikobus address to the Nikobus (also to the PC) to identify itself
to the PC software. The address is shown on the display.
1. Briefly press and select the menu item.
2. Briefly press in order to send the address.
3. Briefly press
], the address is sent, return to the main
screen.
For more information concerning transmission of this Nikobus
address, please refer to the software manual on the CD-Rom.
Error detection
When an error occurs, an ‘
!
’ will appear on the display.
The error code can be viewed In the ‘Check error’ menu item.
1. Briefly press and select the menu item.
2. Briefly press in order to check and note down the error
code.
