1. BESCHREIBUNG
Der Semaphor regelt den Zugang zu einem Büro oder Sprechzimmer mithilfe einer Geräusch- oder LED-Signalisierung.
Die Grundaufstellung des Semaphors besteht aus:
• einem Klingeltaster an der Türe, zu bedienen durch den Besucher (Symbole und Texte in mehreren Sprachen
werden mitgeliefert)
• einer Hauptinnensprechstelle mit 4 Tasten im Zimmer:
- grün (HEREIN)
- orange (WARTEN)
- rot (BESETZT)
- Schließerdrucktaster mit potentialfreien Kontakten (max. 24 V~ = 100mA; kann z. B. einen Summer oder
ein elektrisches Türschloss über ein Relais bedienen).
2. FUNKTIONSWEISE UND BETRIEB
Die Grundaufstellung des Semaphors besteht aus einem Klingeltaster und einer Hauptinnensprechstelle (beide
separate erhältlich). Der Semaphor funktioniert auf Niederspannung 12 V~. Montieren Sie den Klingeltaster
an der Außenseite in der Nähe des Büros, dessen Zugang Sie regeln möchten. Montieren Sie diesen in einer
Unterputzdose auf einer Höhe von 140 bis 150 cm oberhalb des Fußbodens. Bringen Sie die Hauptinnensprechstelle
im betreffenden Büro in Reichweite. An der Hauptinnensprechstelle können Sie eine Nebeninnensprechstelle
mit derselben Funktion wie die Hauptinnensprechstelle (z. B. für Anwendung Direktion und Direktionssekretariat
oder Büroraum mit 2 separaten Räumen). An die Hauptinnensprechstelle können Sie maximal 2 Klingeltaster
anschließen. Die Nebeninnensprechstelle und der zusätzliche Klingeltaster können separat bestellt werden.
Einbauklingeltaster 101-44500
Der Klingeltaster besteht aus weißem Kunststoff mit Anzeige-LEDs in drei Farben mit deutlichen Symbolen.
Die Klingeltasterfunktion ist im Standardsockel für Niko-Einbauschaltermaterial montiert. Diese kann mit einer
weißen Blende ausgestattet werden (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten).
An die Hauptinnensprechstelle können Sie maximal 2 Klingeltaster anschließen. Ein zusätzlicher Klingeltaster
kann separat bestellt werden.
Hauptinnensprechstelle 004-44600
Die Hauptinnensprechstelle (Tischmodel) besteht aus schwarzem Kunststoff, mit denselben deutlichen Symbolen
wie am Klingeltaster.
Nebeninnensprechstelle 004-44610
Die Nebeninnensprechstelle kann ausschließlich als Erweiterung der Hauptinnensprechstelle verwendet werden.
Die Ausführung ist mit der Hauptinnensprechstelle identisch.
Netzteil 004-44800
Mit dem Niko-Netzteil 004-44800 versorgen Sie den Semaphor mit der richtigen Versorgungsspannung. Der
Niederspannungsausgang ist ein zylindrischer Stecker ø 3,5mm mit einer Spitze als Pluspol. Die Länge des
Netzkabels beträgt 1,85 m. Ausgang 12 V, 300 mA. Der Niederspannungsstecker wird an der Rückseite des
Semaphor eingesteckt.
3. WARNHINWEISE FÜR DIE INSTALLATION
• Die Installation darf ausschließlich von einer Elektrofachkraft unter Berücksichtigung der geltenden
Vorschriften ausgeführt werden.
• Diese Gebrauchsanleitung muss dem Benutzer ausgehändigt werden. Die Gebrauchsanleitung ist den Unterlagen
der elektrischen Anlage beizufügen und muss auch eventuellen neuen Besitzern ausgehändigt werden.
Zusätzliche Exemplare erhalten Sie über die Internetseiten von Niko oder über den Kundendienst von Niko.
• Beachten und berücksichtigen Sie bei der Installation unter anderem folgende Punkte:
- die gültigen Gesetze, Normen und Richtlinien.
- den Stand der Technik zum Zeitpunkt der Installation.
- die in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen, wobei diese Gebrauchsanleitung nur
allgemein gültige Bestimmungen enthält, die für jede Anlage spezifisch angewendet werden müssen.
- die allgemein anerkannten Regeln fachmännischer Arbeit.
Dieses Produkt erfüllt alle anwendbaren europäischen Richtlinien und Verordnungen. Die für dieses Produkt

4. NIKO UNTERSTÜTZUNG
Bei Zweifel oder falls Sie bei einem eventuellen Defekt des Produkts noch Fragen bezüglich des Umtausches
haben, dann nehmen Sie bitte Kontakt auf mit dem Kundendienst von Niko (Belgien: +32 3 778 90 80) oder

5. GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
• Der Garantiezeitraum beträgt vier Jahre ab Lieferdatum. Als Lieferdatum gilt das Rechnungsdatum
zum Zeitpunkt des Kaufs durch den Endverbraucher. Falls keine Rechnung mehr vorhanden ist, gilt das
Produktionsdatum.
• Der Endverbraucher ist verpflichtet, Niko schriftlich über einen Produktmangel innerhalb von zwei Monaten
nach dessen Feststellung zu informieren.
• Im Falle eines Mangels hat der Endverbraucher nur Recht auf kostenlose Reparatur oder Ersatz des Produkts.
Eine Entscheidung darüber obliegt allein Niko.
• Niko ist nicht für Mängel oder Schäden verantwortlich, die durch fehlerhafte Installation, nicht
bestimmungsgemäßen oder unsachgemäßen Gebrauch, durch falsche Bedienung, Anpassen/Ändern des
Produktes, infolge von unsachgemäßer Wartung entgegen den Wartungsvorschriften oder die sich aus
äußeren Umständen, wie beispielsweise infolge Feuchtigkeit oder Überspannung, ergeben.
• Zwingende Vorschriften der nationalen Gesetzgebung bezüglich des Verkaufs von Konsumgütern und
zum Verbraucherschutz haben vor den obigen Bestimmungen Vorrang in den Ländern, in denen Niko
direkt oder über seine Neben- oder Tochtergesellschaften, Filialen, Vertriebsstellen, Agenten oder über
feste Vertreter verkauft.
Dieses Produkt darf nicht mit dem normalen Haus- bzw. Restmüll entsorgt werden. Das zu entsorgende Gerät muss zu
einer Mülldeponie oder einer Sondermüllsammelstelle gebracht werden. Neben den Herstellern und Importeuren haben
auch Sie als Verbraucher eine Verantwortung bei der Mülltrennung, dem Recycling und der Wiederverwertung von elektrischen
und elektronischen Geräten die entsorgt werden sollen. Um die Entsorgung und Verarbeitung finanzieren zu können, hat
die Regierung in bestimmten Fällen einen Recycling-Beitrag festgelegt, der im Kaufpreis dieses Produktes enthalten ist.

1. DESCRIPTION
The Semaphor controls the access to an office or waiting room via sound and LED signalisation. The basic
structure of the Semaphor consists of:
• a bell push button at the door, to be controlled by the visitor (symbols and texts in several languages are included)
• a main internal unit with 4 buttons in the room:
- green (INSIDE)
- orange (WAIT)
- red (BUSY)
- NO push button with potential-free contacts (max. 24V~ = 100mA; e.g. to control a buzzer or electric
door lock by using a relay).
2. OPERATION AND USE
The basic structure of the Semaphor consists of a bell push button and a main internal unit (both to be purchased
separately). The Semaphor operates at low voltage 12V~. Mount the bell push button on the outside, close to
the door of the office of which you want to control the access. Mount in a flush-mounting box at a height of 140
to 150 cm above the surface of the floor. Place the main internal unit within arm’s reach inside the office. One
sub internal unit, which can operate in the same way as the main internal unit, can be connected to the main
internal unit (e.g. to be used in management and management secretariat office or office space with 2 desks).
A maximum of two bell push buttons can be connected to the main internal unit. The sub internal unit and the
additional bell push button can be ordered separately.
Flush-mounting bell push button 101-44500
The bell push button is made of white plastic with indication LEDs in three colours with clear symbols. The bell
push button function is mounted in the standard base for Niko flush-mounting switching material. It can be
finished with a white flush surround plate (not included).
A maximum of two bell push buttons can be connected to the main internal unit. An additional bell push button
can be ordered separately.
Main internal unit 004-44600
The main internal unit (desk model) is made of black plastic, with the same clear symbols as the bell push button.
Sub internal unit 004-44610
The sub internal unit can only be used as an extension of the main internal unit. The operation is identical to
the main internal unit.
Mains supply 004-44800
Via the Niko Mains supply 004-44800, the Semaphor is provided with the right power supply voltage. The low
voltage output is a ø 3.5 mm cylindrical plug with a + pole top. The length of the power supply cable is 1.85 m.
Output 12V, 300mA. The low voltage plug is plugged into the back of the Semaphor.
3. WARNINGS REGARDING INSTALLATION
• The installation should be carried out by a registered installer and in compliance with the statutory regulations.
• This user manual should be presented to the user. It should be included in the electrical installation file,
and it should be passed on to any new owners. Additional copies are available on the Niko website or via
the Niko support service.
• During installation, the following should be taken into account (non-exhaustive list):
- the statutory laws, standards and regulations.
- the technology currently available at the time of installation.
- this user manual, which only states general regulations and should therefore be read within the scope
of each specific installation.
- the rules of proper workmanship.
This product complies with all of the relevant European guidelines and regulations. If applicable, you can find

4. NIKO SUPPORT
In case of doubt or for the specific exchange procedure in case of a possible defect, contact the Niko support

5. GUARANTEE PROVISIONS
• The period of guarantee is four years from the date of delivery. The delivery date is the invoice date of
purchase of the product by the consumer. If there is no invoice, the date of production applies.
• The consumer is obliged to inform Niko in writing about the non-conformity, within two months after
stating the defect.
• In case of a non-conformity, the consumer only has the right to a product repair or replacement free of
charge, which shall be decided by Niko.
• Niko shall not be held liable for a defect or damage resulting from incorrect installation, improper or careless
use, incorrect operation, transformation of the product, maintenance that does not adhere to the maintenance
instructions or an external cause, such as damage due to moisture or overvoltage.
• The compulsory regulations of the national legislation concerning the sale of consumer goods and the
protection of the consumer in the countries where Niko sells, directly or via sister companies, subsidiaries,
chain stores, distributors, agents or permanent sales representatives, take priority over the above-mentioned
rules and regulations.
Do not dump this product with the unsorted waste. Bring it to a recognised waste collection point. Together with producers
and importers, you have an important role to play in the advancement of sorting, recycling and reusing discarded electrical
and electronic appliances. In order to finance the waste collection and processing, the government levies a recycling
contribution in some cases (included in the purchase price of this product).
