3.2  Installation and Removal of Blade

Thoroughly read “1.2 General Precautions” before installing and removing the blade.

3.2.1 Installation of Blade

Put on gloves.

Put the blade guard [1]

,

 the blade [2] 

and the blade cap [3]

 

on the output 

shaft [4].

Insert the L type wrench [5] into the 
groove [6] for fixing gear case and 
rotate the blade mounting bolt [7] 
counterclockwise to tighten.

Blade mounting bolt tightening torque: 
16.7 to 19.6 Nm

Note

 

The directions for loosening/tightening the 

blade mounting bolt [7] are opposite to the 

ones of general nuts.

3.2.2 Removal of Blade

Wear gloves, and remove the blade in the opposite way of the installation of the blade.
