Confirming items necessary for other settings
Confirm the following settings necessary for device connection.
(If necessary, consult the network administrator.)
• File format
• Login user name of the receiver computer
• Login password of the receiver computer
• Domain name of the receiver computer (domain name of the connected network)
(If no domain exists, confirm the work group name.)
• Computer name of the receiver computer (or IP address of the receiver computer)
(Confirm the computer name and domain using System Properties of the computer.)
• Shared folder name (see "6.3.2. Setting up the shared folder (Page 88)" for setting.)
• DHCP server use authorization (Consult the network administrator.)
• IP address of the device (issued by the network administrator)
• Subnet mask of the device (issued by the network administrator)
• Default gateway (only if necessary)
