3.1.4 - Cables and fuses

• It is the responsibility of the user to connect and provide protection for the POWERDRIVE MD2CS in accordance 

with the current legislation and regulations in the country of use. This is particularly important with regard to the 

size of the cables, the type and rating of fuses, the earth or ground connection, powering down, acknowledging trips, 

isolation and protection against overcurrents.

• The installation must have a short circuit current (Isc) > 20 I

at the point of drive connection.

• This table is given for information only, and must under no circumstances be used in place of the current standards.
