
This is where you set which part of your installation (room
temperature, hot water temperature, pool temperature) is
to benefit from the solar electricity surplus.
When the solar panels are producing more electricity than
the compatible product requires, the temperature in the
property is adjusted and/or the temperature of the hot water
or the pool is increased.
In the compatible product, you can select whether you want
domestic electricity to be prioritised over room temperature
and hot water, provided that this is equipped with an extern-
al energy meter.
TIP
When electricity production is active, you will be
notified of this in the drop-down menu and on the
solar home screen.

An energy meter can be connected to NIBE EME 20.
Energy per pulse: Here you set the amount of energy to
which each pulse will correspond.
Pulses per kWh: Here, you set the number of pulses per kWh
that are sent to NIBE EME 20.
TIP
"Pulses per kWh" is set in whole numbers. If a
higher resolution is required, use "Energy per
pulse"
CONTROL
NIBE EME 20 automatically manages what the solar energy
will be used for, according to the choices made in menu
4.2.2.
In the Information menu 3.1.11.8, you can see what the solar
energy is being used for at the moment, as well as other in-
formation such as the average power and produced power.
