NI RMC-8355 User Manual

NIC1/NIC2 LED Indicators

The network interface controller (NIC) LED connection for GLAN port 1
is on pins 11 and 12 of JF1, and the LED connection for GLAN port 2 is on
pins 9 and 10. Attach the NIC LED cables to display network activity. Refer
to Tables B-7 and B-8 for pin definitions.

Overheat (OH)/Fan Fail/PWR Fail/UID LED

Connect an LED cable to pins 7 and 8 of JF1 to use the overheat (OH)/
fan fail/power fail and UID LED connections. The red LED on pin 7
provides warnings of an overheat, fan failure, or power failure. The blue
LED on pin 8 works as the front panel UID LED indicator. The red LED
takes precedence over the blue LED by default. Refer to Tables B-9
and B-10 for pin definitions and LED statuses.
