When the new coefficients are calculated, commit them to the hardware using the process
described in the
section.
Adjusting Voltage Output
To adjust the voltage output of a calibrated NI PXIe-4154, compare a range of requested voltage
test points to the measurements of the actual voltage at the output by an external DMM. Refer
to Figure 2 for a connection diagram.
Refer to Table 19 for an outline of the voltage test points that you must request and measure for
each range. For example, the 6 V range on Channel 0 requires the adjustment application to
separately request 0.1 V, 3 V, and 6 V outputs from the NI PXIe-4154. Take measurements using
the external DMM at each voltage test point.
Note
Do not use the NI-DCPower SFP to request test points for adjusting voltage
outputs.
Note
After requesting a new voltage, wait one second to take a measurement with
an external DMM to ensure the system has adequate time to settle.
