During playback, the disc spins at high speed. So do not lift or move the player.
Doing so may damage the disc.
Select a stab le place nea r the T V or stereo system to whi ch you are going to
conne ct the player.
Do not place the player on top o f a TV or color monitor.
Install the player away from cas sette decks or othe r devic es which are easily
affected by magnetic forces.

objects filled with liquids , such as vas es, shall be placed on th e appa ratus.
5 TURN OFF THE POWER WHEN NOT USING THE PLAYER
If the player is connected to your TV but not inuse, s witch the pow er off. It can
avoid interference to your normal TV picture.
Noise problems may also be experienced if used near a radio.
6 SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING USE OF PLAYER IN VEHICLES
We strongly advise agains t using the player w hile dr iving.
Most countries and states have l aws wh ich prohibit or severely re strict the
use of the pla yer in vehicles while drivin g.
Do not leave the pla yer or the battery pack in places where the tempera ture
is extre mely l ow (Ab out-10 C or lower) or extremely high (About 6 0 C or
higher), such as ins ide the pass enger cabin o r trunk in mi dsumm er. Doing
so may warp the outer case or re duce the performance or quality of the
battery pack.
