The Nexsan E60™/Nexsan E48™ RAID storage unit is designed so that adding data disks can be performed
while the unit is powered on and operating normally. Also, a second RAID Controller can be added to single-
Controller systems, but this requires the unit to be powered down.

Only the Nexsan E60™ and Nexsan E48™ come in a single-controller configuration.

while power is on.
