QUICK START GUIDE | XN-135M8S XPERIENCE CONTROLLER

Example 4 | Button LED control

To  set  all  button  LEDs  of  a  (touch)  button  interface
connected  to  X-talk  interface  002  to  “on”,  send  the
following API commands from the 3rd party device to the
XN-135M8S controller:

Example 5 | Selection LED control

To initiate a Selection LED pattern on the Pixel LED strip
connected  to  the  Selection  LED  interface,  send  the
following 3 API commands from the 3rd party device to the
XN-135M8S controller:

Combining Elements

The XN-135M8S Xperience controller has 2 X-talk interfaces and 1 Selection LED interface to which any combination of
Elements can be connected. For example, three of the examples in this Quick Start Guide can be combined on a single XN-
135M8S. The API commands and operation will remain the same. When connecting multiple Elements that require a high
amount of current (LEDs or push buttons with LED ring), calculate the total required current of the Elements and check if this
is within the specification of the controller and its power supply source.

To  set  all  button  LEDs  of  a  (touch)  button  interface
connected  to  X-talk  interface  002  to  “off”,  send  the
following API commands from the 3rd party device to the
XN-135M8S controller:

Define LED segments A-D as 3 LEDs each

Define  the  ON(+)  state  as  99%  brightness  on  color  C  (default  sky
blue) with a ramp time of 0.3 seconds and the OFF(-) state as 00%
brightness on color C with a ramp time of 0.3 seconds:

Set segment A and C to the ON state and all other segments OFF:

For more information on controlling Pixel LEDs via Selection LED interfaces, please refer to the document “Manual |
Controlling Selection Guide LEDs (API)”.
