CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Glass window, inner door panel and oven front face
Clean these parts with a mild detergent, rinse and wipe dry. Never use abrasive powders or pads.
Control panel and plastic parts
Do not apply detergent or alkaline liquid spray to control panel and plastic parts. Use a damp cloth to clean parts.
Oven interior
Clean up spilled liquids, spattered oil and food debris as quickly as possible. If oven is used when dirty,
efficiency drops and dirt gets stuck on oven surface causing odor. Clean interior with a cloth soaked in warm
water and a mild detergent. Wipe soap off with damp cloth.

Oven doesn’t start
Verify electrical plug is connected to outlet. Open and close door and
try again.
Arcing or sparking
Use microwave-safe cookware only. Do not operate when empty.
Clean cavity with a damp towel.
Unevenly cooked foods
Use microwave-safe cookware only. Completely defrost food. Use
correct cooking time. Turn or stir food.
Overcooked foods
Use correct cooking time.
Undercooked foods
Use microwave-safe cookware only. Completely defrost food. Verify
that oven ventilation ports are not restricted. Use correct cooking time.
Improper defrosting
Use microwave-safe cookware only. Use correct cooking time. Turn
or stir food.
Browning Dish
Follow manufacturer’s instructions. The bottom of browning dish must be
at least 3/16" (5mm) above surface.
Dinnerware
Must be marked as “microwave-safe.” Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Glass Jars
Always remove lid. Use only to heat food until warm. Most glass jars are
not heat resistant and may break.
Glassware
Use only heat-resistant oven glassware. Verify there is no metallic trim. Do
not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Oven Cooking Bags
Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Do not close with metal tie. Create
slits allowing steam to escape.
Paper Plates and Cups
Use only for short term cooking. Do not leave oven unattended while cooking.
Paper Towels
Use to cover food for reheating and absorbing fat. Use with supervision
for short-term cooking only.
Parchment Paper
Use as a cover to prevent splattering or a wrap for steaming.
Plastic
Must be marked as “microwave-safe.” Follow the manufacturer’s
instructions. Maintain caution as some plastic containers soften as food
temperature rises. Tightly closed bags should be pierced or vented as
directed by package instructions.
Plastic Wrap
Must be marked as “microwave-safe.” Use to cover food during cooking
to retain moisture. Do not allow plastic wrap to touch food.
Thermometers
Must be marked as “microwave-safe.”
Wax Paper
Use as a cover to prevent splattering and retain moisture
Aluminum Tray
May cause arcing.
Food Cartons With Metal Handles
May cause arcing.
Metal or Metal-Trimmed Utensils
Metal shields food from microwave energy. Metal trim may cause arcing.
Metal Twist Ties
May cause arcing and fire in oven.
Paper Bags
May cause fire in oven.
Plastic Foam
Plastic foam may melt and contaminate food.
Wood
Wood will dry out when used in oven and may split or crack.
