Installing a WLAN module or WWAN module

2.  Remove the rear cover of the VMC1000.
 

The Mini PCI Express slot shown below is used to install a WLAN 

 

module or 3.5G commu-nication module such as GPRS, 

 

UMTS or HSDPA module.

Prior to removing the chassis cover, make sure the unit’s power is off and disconnected from the power sources to prevent electric shock or system damage.

1.  Remove these screws and put them in a safe place for later use.
