Once the battery is fully charged, you can then begin using the

Newer Technology NuPower Charge & Sync +. In this example, we

show the battery being used to power an Apple iPhone. The the

Newer Technology NuPower Charge & Sync + is shipped with a 30

Pin Apple Dock cable installed, but includes both a mini USB and a

micro USB connector also. You can easily switch the USB cable out

on the Newer Technology NuPower Charge & Sync +to use either of

these other cables by simply pulling the white body of the USB con-

nector out of it’s socket  on the Newer Technology NuPower Charge

& Sync + - do not pull directly on the USB cable or you can damage

it. Using your fingernail to gently release the body of the connector

is highly recommended.

Simply connect the USB or Dock connector to the mobile device,

and turn the on/off switch to the on (or out) position on the battery

and your device will begin charging. When you are done charging

your device, turn the battery power switch off to conserve the inter-

nal battery for future charging.

The 3 USB cables that come with the Newer Technology NuPower

Charge & Sync + can also be used as connectivity cables between

your computer and your device, simply plug the USB connector into

your USB port on your computer and whichever accessory cable you

chose into your mobile device.

Operation

(continued)

The Newer Technology NuPower Charge & Sync + can be used simultaneously while charging the internal bat-

tery on the Newer Technology NuPower Charge & Sync +, and also your device. While performing this type of

charge, the internal battery on the Newer Technology NuPower Charge & Sync + will charge first for about 5 to 10

minutes, and then begin charging the connected device as well. Please note - if the Newer Technology NuPower

Charge & Sync + OR your device’s internal battery is fully depleted, they  may not immediately turn on when con-

necting to either the internal battery or to a power source. Some devices, such as the Apple iPhone take a few

minutes to recharge the internal battery before it will boot to the operating system.

Tips & Troubleshooting

• When connecting devices to the Newer Technology NuPower Charge & Sync +, make sure that they are ad-

equately supported on a flat surface and not hanging off of the cord, such as when plugged into a wall outlet.

Excess strain on the cable will cause failure of the connections and shorten the life of the product.

• When using the cables to connect your device to your computer, be sure to properly orient the USB connector

so that the gold pins connect the right direction into your computer’s USB port. On most laptops, that would be

with the gold contacts in the UP position. If the pins are not oriented correctly, the computer will not recognize

that the device is connected and will not work. Simply turn the cable over if this happens and reconnect it.
