6.3 Switching off using the timer
You can program the timer to switch the induction hotplate off automatically
after a preset time.
1. Press the sensor button for the timer
(15) when cooking with the induction
hotplate to program the timer.
2. Use the + (10) and - (12) buttons to set the cooking time you want (in minutes)
before the heating zone is to switch off.
You can program the cooking time to between 1 and 180 minutes.
3. The time set flashes briefly and then the remaining time (countdown) is
shown on the display (11).
4. If the timer is activated, the display (11) alternates showing the power level
or temperature and the remaining time at around 5 second intervals.
The timer indicator (16) is only lit while the time is shown on the display (11). While the
power level or temperature is shown, only the indicator (3) is lit, not the indicator (16).
5. If necessary, you can adjust the power level or temperature using the + (10)
and - (12) buttons.
6. Once the countdown reaches zero, the induction hotplate automatically
switches off. A beeper sounds.
In order to switch the induction hotplate off manually before the time has elapsed, press
the On/Off button
(7).
6.4 Child lock
The induction hotplate has a child lock so that the settings cannot be changed
accidentally. How to activate or deactivate the child lock:
1. Press the + (10) and - (12) buttons together briefly. An acoustic signal can be
heard and the indicator (19) lights up. The child lock is now activated.
2. Press and hold the + (10) and - (12) buttons for about 3 seconds. An acoustic
signal can be heard and the indicator (19) light goes out. The child lock is
now deactivated again. You can use the induction hotplate as normal.
• You can also activate the child lock when the induction hotplate is switched off.
• If you activate the child lock while the induction hotplate is on, it can still be switched
off. But all other functions are blocked.
6.5 Keep-warm function
You can keep food warm for up to 2 hours at approx. 60 °C using the keep-
warm function. How to use the keep-warm function::
