5.8.8. Keys and Certificates
The key and certificate page lets you generate required files for securing your services
(such as HTTP and SSH server) but also to implement authentication and encryption
for certificate-based VPN tunnels and WLAN clients.

The entry pages shows an overview about installed keys and certificates. The following
sections may appear:
Type
Description
Root CA
The root Certificate Authority (CA) which issues certifi-
cates, its key can be used to certify it at trusted third party
on other systems
Web Server
The certificates for the Web server required for running
HTTP over SSL (HTTPS).
SSH Server
The DSS/DSA keys for the SSH server.
