The power light is lit after applying power to the router.
•
The Status light comes on briefly and then goes off.
Next, log in to the router.
1. Turn on your computer, let the operating system boot up completely, and log in as needed.
2. The light on the router for the port connected to the computer lights up.
3. From the Ethernet connected computer you just set up, open a browser such as Internet
Explorer or Netscape® Navigator.
4. Connect to the router by typing
http://192.168.0.1
in the address field of your browser.
A login window opens as shown below:

If applicable, the status light on the broadband card shows that it is active. Please
refer to the broadband card user manual for details.
Note:
Your computer needs to be configured for DHCP. For instructions on configuring
for DHCP, please see the link to
“Preparing a Computer for Network Access:” in
Appendix B
