SPI
. Enter the required SPIs. Each policy must have unique SPIs. These settings
must match those for the remote VPN endpoint. The Incoming setting here must
match the Outgoing setting on the remote VPN endpoint, and the Outgoing setting
here must match the Incoming setting on the remote VPN endpoint.

Encryption
. Select the desired encryption algorithm, and enter the key in the field
provided. For 3DES, the keys should be 24 ASCII characters (48 hex characters).

Authentication
. Select the desired authentication algorithm, and enter the key in
the field provided. For MD5, the keys should be 16 ASCII characters (32 hex
characters). For SHA-1, the keys should be 20 ASCII (40 hex characters).

Click the
Apply
button.

Your settings are saved.
VPN Status
The log on the VPN Status page displays details of recent VPN activity.
To view the VPN status:
1.
Launch a web browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network.
2.
Enter
http://www.routerlogin.net
.
A login window opens.
3.
Enter the modem router user name and password.
The user name is
admin
. The default password is
password
. The user name and
password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4.
Select
ADVANCED > Advanced - VPN > VPN Status
.
The VPN Status page displays the details of recent VPN activity.
5.
To refresh the log screen, click
Refresh
.
6.
To clear the log entries, click
Clear Log
.
Setup Menu
The following selections are available in the Setup menu:

that you can access from the dashboard on the BASIC Home screen. See
