3.2.2.1  OPTION  

This menu is used to setup the basic parameters for MDVR recording.   

 

VIDEO TYPE:

 PAL and NTSC optional. The default setting is NTSC 

RECORD MODE: 

Record mode, three modes as following:   

NORMAL:

 When MDVR is power supplied and starts up, the MDVR will start to record automatically.   

TIMER: 

This  is  the  switch  to  start  the  TIMER  recording  function. When  the  user  enable  this  switch, 

MDVR will start to record at configured time setting in the SCHEDULE menu 

EVENT: 

This is the switch to start the event recording. Only the user enable this switch, when event is 

trigged, MDVR will create event record. 

NORMAL REC RATE:

 normal record rate, two option:   

GENERAL: 

MDVR will start to record according to the setup of RECORD SETTING. 

I FRAME: 

MDVR only record by I frame (the key frame for video) in order to take up less space of hard drive. 

BUT when event is trigged, MDVR will record according to setup of RECORD menu.
