Monitoring
GuardPost has an on-board Gsm digital dialler which can either report alarms in contact iD format to a
central station or send sms messages to a mobile phone.
the dialler can send in either contact iD format or sms message, but not both formats.
SMS Message
if the client Account number, see below, is 0000 the message will be sent in sms format to both of the
programmed telephone numbers.
the sms message is sent in plain english just as it is displayed on the Guardpost’s display.
message examples:
Alarm from sensor 1
tamper alarm from sensor 3
Panic alarm from key 2
Duress alarm from key 3
medical alarm from key 5
Contact iD Message
if you require the GuardPost to be monitored by a central station, enter the client Account number
supplied by the central station. As long as the client Account number is not 0000, the GuardPost will
send detailed reports in contact iD format including open/close reports by user, zone alarms, low
battery,

telephone.
