9  Steam programs

You can cook food very easily using the various pro-
grams. The program applies the most suitable settings.

9.1 Selecting a program

WARNING ‒ Risk of scalding!

Hot steam may escape when you open the appliance
door. Whether or not you can see steam depends on
its temperature.

Do not stand too close to the appliance when open-
ing the door.

Open the appliance door carefully.

Keep children at a safe distance.

Press  ⁠.

2.

Use the   or   button to select "steam programs"  ⁠.

3.

Use the   button to navigate to the next row.

4.

Use the   or   button to select the required steam
program.

5.

Use the   button to navigate to the next row.

6.

Press   to start the steam program.

The appliance will start to heat and the cooking time
will start to count down.

The displayed cooking time may change during the
first few minutes, as the heat-up time depends on
the temperature of the ingredients and the water,
amongst other things.

Once the set cooking time has elapsed, an audible
signal will sound and the appliance will stop heat-
ing.

Once the cooking time has elapsed:

Press the   button to silence the audible signal
before it is due to end

For some dishes, you can extend the cooking
time if necessary.

When the dish is ready, press   to switch the ap-
pliance off.

9.2 Extending the cooking time

For some dishes, you can extend the cooking time
once the set cooking time has elapsed. You can ex-
tend the cooking time as many times as required.

To select "Extend cooking time", press  ⁠.

A cooking time will appear on the display.

If necessary, use the   or   button to change the
cooking time.

Press   to start.

The appliance will start to heat and the cooking time
will start to count down.

Once the cooking time has elapsed, an audible sig-
nal will sound. The appliance will stop heating. The
notification regarding extending the cooking time
will appear again.

Once the cooking time has elapsed:

Press the   button to silence the audible signal
before it is due to end

If you want to extend the cooking time again,
press  ⁠.

When the dish is ready, press   to switch the ap-
pliance off.

9.3 Cancelling operation

To delete all settings, press and hold  ⁠.

The appliance will then stop. You can configure new
settings.
