2. Use the hook provided to remove the cover off the knuckle valve housing.

The knuckle valve is revealed.

The top plate is very heavy and could cause bodily harm. Lift the top plate with the hook
provided.

When performing maintenance on the knuckle valve, appropriate safety measures must be
taken. The knuckle valve spring is under high tension and disassembling the knuckle valve
assembly can cause bodily harm.
