2.5 Internal I/O
The system
’s internal I/O connectors consist of a SO-DIMM socket, mini-PCIe slot
with USIM slot, a half-size mSATA port and a MezIO
TM
port for application-oriented
expansion purposes.
2.5.1 M.2 Socket
The system has an M.2 socket that is compatible with 2242/ 3042 specifications and
offers SIM card support. By installing a M.2 module, you can install a 3G/ 4G module
with a SIM card for internet access via your service provider
’s 3G/ 4G network.
For wireless (WIFI/ 3G/ 4G) communication, there are two SMA antenna openings on
the front and side panels of the system.
