2. Set dial 2 on the minutes
3. Set dial 3 on AM or PM - never on
or off
4. Connect a high quality 9V alkaline battery, such as
Energizer
®
(Energizer
®
is the registered trademark
of the Eveready Battery Co., Inc.). Place the
connected battery in battery compartment. An
audible “click” of the plunger will indicate that the
battery is connected.
Important: Make sure the battery lid is on straight and
secure to insure waterproofness.
• Programmable Actuator installation
- Replace AC solenoid and bleed collar (if one exists)
with Nelson SoloRain Programmable Actuator and
adapter.
- Do not operate a manual bleed lever if
your valve is equipped with one. It could
cause the plunger to latch in the open
position.
Notice: some Hardie valves have AC
solenoids with the o-ring
embedded into the
solenoid. It will be
necessary to use two
o-rings as illustrated.
Note: Choose the adapter
appropriate for the valve
on which it will be
installed. See Valve
Compatibility Table.
-Screw the
programmable actuator
and adapter finger tight
into valve.
Note: It may be necessity to
remove the battery
compartment while
screwing in the actuator to
clear the flow control on
the valve. The plastic
battery compartment
separates from the unit by
simply sliding the
compartment up.
Remember to reattach the compartment
when the actuator has been installed and
install the protective cover.
