EcoClean

The display shows the duration. The duration of
one hour cannot be changed.

setting  ⁠.

The cleaning function starts after a few seconds and
the time counts down.

sounds and the display shows the cooking time as
zero.

Switch off the appliance.

Setting the cleaning function for the top oven

 The outside of the appliance gets very hot when the

cleaning function is in progress.

Never touch the appliance door.

Allow the appliance to cool down.

Wiping the appliance clean following the

cleaning function

1.

Allow the appliance to cool down.

2.

Wipe the cooking compartment clean with a damp
cloth.

Note: 

Marks may appear on the self-cleaning sur-

faces. Residues of sugar and albumin in the food
are not removed and remain on the surfaces. Red-
dish patches may be left over from salty food – the
spots are not rust. These spots are not harmful.
These marks do not impair the cleaning ability of
the self-cleaning surfaces.

13.2 Base clean

Use the 

Base clean

 to clean the cooking compartment

floor. The 

Base clean

 softens dirt by vaporising the

soapy water. The dirt can then be removed more eas-
ily.

Setting Base clean

WARNING ‒ Risk of scalding!

If there is water in the cooking compartment when it is
hot, this may create hot steam.

Never pour water into the cooking compartment
when the cooking compartment is hot.

You cannot delay the end time.

¡

The length of time has been preset and cannot be
changed.

Requirements

¡

Start the cleaning aid only when the cooking com-
partment has completely cooled down.

¡

To remove particularly stubborn dirt, leave the soapy
water to work for some time before starting the
cleaning aid.

¡

To remove particularly stubborn dirt, rub soapy water
onto the dirt on smooth surfaces before starting the
cleaning aid.

Remove the accessories from the cooking compart-
ment.

2. ATTENTION!

Distilled water in the cooking compartment leads to
corrosion.

Do not use distilled water.

Mix 0.4 litres water with a drop of washing-up liquid
and pour into the centre of the cooking compart-
ment floor.

3.

Use the function selector and the temperature se-
lector to set the cleaning aid  ⁠.

The length of time appears in the display.

a

The cleaning aid starts after a few seconds. The
duration counts down in the display.

a

Once the cleaning aid has run through to the end,
an audible signal sounds.

Note: 

If   flashes in the display when the cleaning aid

is switched on, this indicates that the cooking compart-
ment has not completely cooled down. Switch off the
appliance. Wait until 

 appears in the display and

switch the cleaning aid back on.

Recleaning the cooking compartment

ATTENTION!

The prolonged presence of moisture in the cooking
compartment leads to corrosion.

After using the cleaning aid, wipe the cooking com-
partment clean and allow it to dry fully.

1.

Open the appliance door and remove the remaining
water with an absorbent sponge cloth.

2.

Clean the smooth surfaces in the cooking compart-
ment with a dish cloth or a soft brush. Stubborn
residues can be removed using a stainless steel
scouring pad.

3.

Remove limescale with a cloth soaked in vinegar.
Then wipe with clean water and rub dry with a soft
cloth (including under the door seal).

4.

If you are unable to remove stubborn dirt, repeat the
cleaning aid after the cooking compartment has
cooled down.

5.

To switch off, turn the function selector to the zero
setting.

6.

Open the appliance door to the stop position (ap-
prox. 30°) for approx. one hour to allow the sur-
faces in the cooking compartment to dry thoroughly.
