Preserving food

Pay attention when
arranging food:

Allow warm food and drinks to cool
down outside the appliance.

Wrap or cover food before placing
in the appliance. This way the
aroma and freshness is preserved.
This is done likewise to help avoid
the transfer of odours and colours
onto plastic parts.

Keep plastic parts and the door
seal free of oil and grease.

Bottles which contain a high
percentage of alcohol must be
sealed and stored in an upright
position.

When buying food,
please note:

The “purchase freshness” is important
for the shelf-life of your food.
The following principle applies:
the fresher the supplies are when
placed in the chiller section drawer,
the longer they can be held for.
When buying food, always note the
degree of freshness.
