Operation
These instructions apply to several appliance variants. It is
possible that individual features are described which do not
apply to your appliance.
Note:
Switch on the extractor hood when you start cooking and
switch it off again several minutes after you have finished
cooking. This is the most effective way of removing the kitchen
fumes.

Setting the fan
Note:
Always adjust the fan strength to meet current conditions.
If there is a large build-up of steam or fumes, select a high fan
setting.
Switching on the appliance

Press the + or - buttons to set a different fan setting.
Switching off the appliance
Press the # button.
Intensive setting
You can use the intensive setting if there is a large build-up of
odours and fumes/vapours.

Press the ˜ button.
Intensive mode ˜ƒ is activated.

Intensive mode

is activated.
Note:
The run time of the intensive mode is
approx. 6 minutes. Once this time has elapsed, the appliance
switches back to a lower fan setting.

The intensive mode ends.
Fan run-on time
Press and hold the - button until

After approx. 10 minutes, the fan switches off automatically.
AirFresh function

The fan runs for approx. 5 minutes per hour.

Press the

The AirFresh function ends.
Noise reduction function
The noise reduction function reduces the fan noise.
Switching on the NoiseReduction function
The function is possible in all fan settings, except in fan
setting

. The function also remains active after the fan is
switched off.

Press the 4 button.
Lighting
The lighting can be switched on and off independently of the
ventilation system.
Press the

Setting the brightness
Press and hold the

button until the desired brightness is
reached.
Saturation display
When the metal grease filters are saturated, a signal sounds for
approx. 4 seconds after the fan is switched off.
The symbol

flashes on the display panel.
When this happens, do not delay cleaning the metal grease
filters any further; see section Cleaning and maintenance .
Resetting the saturation indicator
Press and hold the - button until the saturation indicator no
longer flashes.
The saturation indicator is reset.
Audible signal
Switching on the audible signal
When the fan is switched off, press and hold the
#
and +
buttons for approx. 3 seconds. An audible signal sounds. The
audible signal is switched on.
Switching off the audible signal
When the fan is switched off, press and hold the # and +
buttons for approx. 3 seconds. An audible signal sounds. The
audible signal is switched off.
