Installation
CAUTION !
It is very important that all users of the machine
carefully read this user instructions manual
before the machine is installed and put to use.
Install the CX 5500 as follows:
1 Connect the unit's cable (27) to a main socket
with required voltage, according to rating plate.
CAUTION !
The filter unit must be placed in a ventilated
room on a hard and flat surface to provide
enough cooling air for the motor.
Operating instructions
The machine is designed for spot suction. The
fume is sucked into the filter unit via a spot
extraction and hoses. Inside the filter unit, the fume
is sucked down through the main filter. The filtered
fume is pressed uppwards through the centre hole
(main filtre) and through the HEPA filter. When the
fume has been cleaned it turns down again and is
recycled in to the working area.
Fault-finding check list
WARNING !
Remove plug from electricity supply before
carrying out any work on the motor unit.
Poor suction:
* Check that hoses and connections are tight.
* Check that the hose is not blocked.
* Check and replace the particle/gas filter as
neccessary.
* Check and replace the HEPA filter as
neccessary.
Motor failure.
* Check the fuses.
* Check the electrical connections.
* Check the carbon brushes. Contact your
supplier.
* The thermal fuse is blown. Contact your
supplier.
