General Description
Use this Memory Block to assign system passwords that must be entered when connecting to
the system using MAT PC Programming.

Go off-line.

Press LK1 + LK8 +

to access the Memory Block.

Use the following to enter Class 1(Technician Mode) and password (8 digits max).
Note:
Use the following to enter data:

to clear data

Class 1, 2 All Blank

to write the data and advance to Class 2 (End User Mode).

After entering Class 2 password, press
N
to write the data. The next Memory Block is displayed.

1. Password 1 (Class 1) is used for Technician MAT PC Programming
2. Password 2 (Class 2) is used for End User MAT PC Programming.
3. Password 1 (Class 1) can be assigned only by telephone programming. It cannot be assigned or changed by
Technician or End User MAT PC Programming.
4. Password 2 (Class 2) can be assigned by telephone programming or Technician MAT PC Programming. It cannot be
assigned or changed by End User MAT PC Programming.
5. Password 2 (Class 2) cannot be assigned until password 1 (Class 1) is assigned in the Memory Block.
6. For passwords for both classes; only the first 5 digits are used.
