Using the BIOS Setup Utility 3-5
Main Menu
Choose the Main menu by selecting Main in the legend bar on the Main menu screen.
Other Main menu options are available by selecting submenus.
Use the arrow keys to select one of the Main menu options and press Enter to select a
submenu. Items with grayed-out text are not available. Explanations of each Main
menu item are in the following table.
Setting items on this menu to incorrect values can cause your
system to malfunction.
Main Menu Items
Menu Item Settings (default is bold)
System Time
Set system time in this field. Press Tab or
Enter to move between hour, minute, and
second fields.
Example: 09:30:00
System Date Set system date in this field. Press Tab or
Enter to move between month, date, and
year fields.
Example: 07/09/2001
Language English , Japanese
Selects the display language for the BIOS.
Bring up the Language submenus by
pressing
Enter .
Diskette A Disabled, 1.44
Selects the diskette drive type. Bring up the
Diskette A submenu by pressing
Enter .
Internal HDD
Displays the HDD capacity.
Example: 10056 MB
Bring up the Internal HDD submenu by
pressing
Enter . The submenus include Type
and LBA Format.
