27.3.6 Installation Test
When installation and necessary data assignment have been completed, perform the installation test. Before
starting the installation test, be sure to confirm the Telephony Server (MGC) on the main-office is operating
normally.
•
No alarm is indicated on the Telephony Server (MGC) in the main-office.
•
Normal call processing can be activated.
Note:
For detailed procedures on operation test for the Telephony Server (MGC), refer to the Installation Man-
ual.
STEP 1: Lamp Indication Check on the SR-MGC
Check the LEDs on the front panel indicate as follows. If not, perform the repair procedure
referring to the Fault Recovery Procedure in Section 3 of Chapter 4.
-PWR:
Lights green
-ACT:
Lights green
-ALM:
Remains OFF
STEP 2: Execute
CMNT
command on the Telephony Server (MGC) of main-office to check the oper-
ating state of the SR-MGC.
Click the “Refresh” button to list up the state of all the SR-MGCs in the network managed by
the Telephony Server (MGC).
List up parameters are:
SR-MGC No.: SR-MGC Number [0-255]
STS: State of SR-MGC [OK/NG]
OK= Connection between Telephony Server (MGC) and SR-MGC has been
established normally.
(SR-MGC is in stand-by mode)
NG= SR-MGC power OFF, or communication error between the Telephony Server
(MGC) and SR-MGC.
Connect CNT: The number of registration terminals
Office Name
LMG: LMG Number (for 16-IMG system only. 0 is displayed for 1/4-IMG system)
IP Address: SR-MGC IP Address
Mode: Changeover/Recover Mode set in SR-MGC[1-2]
Office Data Copy Status: Office Data Copy Status in SR-MGC
Office Data Copy Time: Office Data Copy Starting Time
Note 1:
This indicates a total number of IP terminals and the channels for network equipments such as IP-BSs
and MGs under the registration of the SR-MGC.
•
In the case of SIP/IP terminal, it is counted as “1” per terminal.
•
In the case of network equipment except for MG-PRI (Proprietary Mode), it is counted as “1”
per channel (MG-PRI (Proprietary Mode) is counted as "1" per terminal).
