Only technically qualified personnel must install optical fiber cables. Contact
your service representative for cabling.
z Handle optical fiber cables with care.
z
Be sure to allow for a 50mm minimum bending radius.
z Do not force the cable connector into the slot. Align the connector at a right
angle. You can insert it smoothly if you align it properly.
z Make sure that the surface of the optical fiber cable connector is clean and not
damaged.
z To avoid miscabling, make sure that your cable meets the specification required
and that you connect the cable to a correct destination connector.
z Do not drop the fiber optical cable. Do not allow the connector to make contact
with any surface, such as a floor.
z Do not give any impact or pressure to the cable and its connector while it is
connected. To avoid damage to the cable, do not step on the cable or place
something heavy on it.
z Do not force the cable connector into the slot. If you damage the end of the
cable, it may lower optical output and cause the cable to malfunction.
