Install the Xeon Processor Kit

Preparation point to be checked

You need to remove server module when installing the processor :

Lift the lever while pushing the locking mechanism toward right. Hold the handle, and pull out the server
module horizontally,.

Important If you remove the server module from module enclosure, wait at least 30 seconds

before insert it again into enclosure.

Install the Xeon Processor Kit

Follow steps below to install the processor.

1. Locate the CPU socket to which you are going to install a processor.
