CTIVATION
Some KTS features require registration before they can be used. Feature
Activation registers these features automatically via the internet or manually
through input of Activation Codes. Feature Activation can only occur when PCPro
is connected to a KTS.
6.0.1 Accessing Feature Activation
When PCPro is connected to a KTS, access the Feature Activation
dialog by selecting the menu item
Communications > Feature Activation
.
6.0.2 Using Feature Activation
Within the Feature Activation Dialog, features can be activated
automatically or manually.
Automatic Activation
Automatic Activation requires PCPro to have an Internet connection, to
communicate the NEC Product Activation Server. The Product Activation
Server by request provides PCPro with Activation Codes. To activate a
feature automatically, complete the following:
