3-7-5 System Control Interface (See Table 3-15)
The external interfaces of control items relating to the transmitter are connected
through a Interface board. A connector (J5) of the Interface board accepts control
commands from the system control and also sends out transmitter status necessary for
the system control.

1 TX ON CONT 1 14/15 ON command
2 TX OFF CONT 2 14/15 OFF command
3 TX RESET 3 14/15 Upon occurrence of a fault, hold status
indication of transmitter and OFF status
indication sent out to remote site is released.
4 EX AGC OFF CONT 4 14/15 Command to cut off the AGC circuit when
another transmitter is shut down.

6 EX CHANGE SET 5 14/15 Sends out the EX CHANGE signal as an
exciter changeover signal when the exciter
in use came to a fault.
7 PA RF OFF CONT 6 14/15 Command to cut off the PA OUTPUT when
exciter is changeover.
8 EX IN USE 7 14/15 Sends out the EX IN USE signal to
transmitter, which is using EXCITER.

9 TOTAL ALARM 16 34/35 Some fault occurred in the transmitter.
10 TOTAL WARNING 33 34/35 Means that some minor fault occurred in the
transmitter.
11 TX CHANGE
COMMAND
17 34/35 Means the occurrence of an abnormality
which urges changeover to the stand-by
transmitter.
12 TX CONT PS OFF 18 34/35 When the power supply for this TX Control
is turned OFF, the TX CONT PS OFF signal
is sent out.
