FLASH

MAKING A CALL

1. Lift Handset. The IN USE LED will illuminate.
2. Wait for the Dial Tone and then dial the telephone number.
3. Hang up to terminate the call.

Note : A Trunk Access Code may be necessary before dialing an external
           telephone number if the DTH-1-1 (BK) TEL is connected to a PBX/KTS.

DTH-1-1 (BK) TEL

1. While on a call, press FLASH Key.

VOLUME CONTROL

The handset earpiece volume can be adjusted in 6 stepped increments during a call.
Press

p

  to increase the volume (3 steps up), or

q

 to decrease the volume (2 steps

down).

Note : If the DTH-1-1 (BK) TEL is connected to a PBX/KTS, you can send the
           command by pressing the FLASH Key. If the DTH-1-1 (BK) TEL is connected
           to the Telephone Network, you can "Disconnect and Recall" by pressing the 
           FLASH Key.

TELEPHONE RINGER SET UP

There are three different ringers available and three different volumes for each
ringer. The ringer and volume levels can be set using the following operation.

1. Lift Handset.
2. Press MUTE Key.
3. Dial "#".
4. Select a number 0-9
    from the table.
5. Press MUTE Key.
6. Hang up to finish.

Note : If you disconnect the phone from the network, the ringing tone assignment
           will default to the factory setting within a few hours.
