Assembly warning notice
Not following the safety instructions might
lead to failure or shortened life time of the
NDW 50/60 DRX.
Safety instructions
• Do not drop or otherwise physically mishandle
the NDW 50/60 DRX to avoid internal damage.
• Before assembly check each NDW 50/60 DRX
visually for damage.
• Don’t carry or secure the NDW 50/60 DRX by the
motor cable.
• Don’t twist the motor cable.
Only qualified and authorized personnel should
perform electrical work.
Before installing or making any changes to the
wiring of the NDW 50/60 DRX disconnect the
power supply.
Make sure that the connections and the housing
never come in contact with any hazardous
voltages, not even during the malfunction of a
controller.
Do not connect AC current to the NDW 50/60
DRX at any time, as this will cause irreparable
damage to the device.
Don’t use earth wires or connections as a
protective conductor.

Both the Drive roller, the Basic controller and
the voltage source should be connected to
conveyor frame or supporting structure in such
a way that they are properly earthed. Earthing
incorrectly could potentially result in the build-
up of static charge, causing both the Driver
roller and the Basic controller to malfunction.
Only when all cables have been connect and
covers assembled can the operating voltage be
applied.
Not following the safety instructions might
lead to hazardous situations and failure or
shortened life time of the Basic controller.

ASSEMBLY
• Don’t force the NDW 50/60 DRX druing the
assembly.
• Ensure the NDW 50/60 DRX is properly tightened
in the conveyor frame.
