Fully charge the batteries.

• If other devices are connected to one of the batteries, the state of charge value may be incor-
rect.
• Observe to the manual of the batteries.
The battery monitor is automatically calibrated.
9 Cleaning and maintenance
NOTICE! Damage hazard
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as these may damage the de-
vice.
• Do not use cleaning agents that contain ammonia or alcohol.
• Never spray or pour liquid directly onto the display or casing.
1. Clean the touchscreen of the display with a clean and dry microfiber cloth in small circular motions. Slightly
moisten the microfiber cloth if necessary.
2. Occasionally clean the casing of the battery monitor with a damp cloth.
10 Troubleshooting
Problem Possible cause Suggested remedy
The polarity of the battery is incorrect.
Connect the device properly.
The battery voltage is too low.
Recharge the battery.
The battery monitor does not work.
No values are measured.
A cable is not connected correctly or
defective.
Check the cables for insulation
faults, breaks or loose connec-
tions.
The battery is completely discharged.
Charge the battery.
The battery is not connected correctly.
Connect the battery correctly

Connecting the battery mon
itor on page 14).
Check the battery manual.
The battery is defective.
Replace the battery.
The battery monitor is not connected
correctly.
Connect the battery monitor cor-
rectly.
The battery monitor does not work.
No image is displayed.
A connection cable or the communica-
tion cable is defective.
Replace the defective cable.
The display does not show an image. The battery monitor is switched off.
