Installing the Kiosk
The NCR SelfServ™ XK32 (2247) Kiosk must be secured in the installed location so that
it cannot be moved.
The floor, ceiling, or wall must be prepared, mounting holes drilled, and anchors
installed prior to the final siting of the kiosk. Bolts and anchors used to secure the kiosk
are not supplied by NCR, they must be provided by the owning organisation.
For floor, ceiling, or wall details and bolts or anchors details refer to the NCR SelfServ™
XK32 (2247) Site Preparation (BCC5-0000-5377).
There are three different installation configurations for the XK32 kiosk, refer to the
appropriate section for the installation procedure corresponding to your kiosk
configuration:
• Floor Only Mounting Installation on the next page
• Floor to Ceiling Mounting Installation on page 66
• Wall Mounting Installation on page 126
Caution: Due to the weight of the NCR SelfServ XK32 kiosk, the following is required
to install the kiosk:
• A minimum of two persons for Single–sided or Wall Mount kiosk configuration
• A
minimum of three persons
for Double–sided kiosk configuration
