Possible Cause / Solution
Kiln Trigger
The system has lost synchronization due to missing signals from the position indicator:
•
Check alignment and distance between trigger bar and position indicator.
•
Increase the metal mass of the trigger bar for a reliable signal generation.
•
Check the wiring.
Note: The trigger signal can be verified by a blinking LED on the junction box located close to the position
indicator!
Ethernet Communication
via Fiber Optic
If there is no communication after installation and powering of all components required - please check the
‘cross-over’ of the two fibers between the glass fiber converter in the field and the control room (TX is in all
cases to be connected to RX of the other converter)!
TSM
Use only position indicators supplied from the manufacturer!
