Licensing Requirements
This radio device requires an FCC license prior to
operation in the United States. Other countries may
have similar requirements. It is the
user‟s
responsibility to acquire all applicable operator
licenses.
Radio Overview
The user configures the radio via software running on
the Nautiz X7 handheld controller or a PC.
Users in North America should be
aware that the frequency band
406.0
– 406.1 MHz is for
government use only, the use of
the radio modem on this frequency
band is strictly forbidden.
Use only the radio modem supplied
by NavCom in the SF-3040.
